How can we help?
Frequently asked questions
The basics
What is Jinport?
Jinport is a buy now, pay later wholesale platform for importing from China. Apply once for a trade credit line, order from verified Chinese suppliers, pay a 20% deposit to confirm, and settle the 80% balance 60 to 90 days later. The factory is paid 100% upfront, so production starts straight away and your working capital stays in your business.
Is Jinport a lender or a bank?
No. Jinport is a wholesale marketplace, not a lender, and it does not lend money, provide credit, or arrange finance in its own right. Your trade credit line is provided by Jiashan Luoxing Wenxin Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd (Jiashan), the supply chain company that buys from the factory and supplies your goods on deferred payment terms. You buy the goods on supply terms; there is no loan and no consumer credit.
Who is Jinport for?
Wholesale businesses importing goods from China. Jinport is open to buyers in the United States, Europe, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Business use only, not available to individuals.
Who supplies the goods, and who provides the trade credit?
Goods are supplied by verified Chinese suppliers. Your trade credit line is provided by Jiashan Luoxing Wenxin Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd, which pays your factory 100% upfront and supplies the goods to you on the deposit and balance terms shown on each order.
Who stands behind Jiashan?
Jiashan operates in cooperation with ZIB China (zibchina.com) on the supply chain behind Jinport. Chinese factories are paid 100% upfront on every confirmed order, which is why production starts immediately and suppliers carry no receivables.
How it works
How does the 20%/80% split work?
A 4.5% service fee is added to your order value first. For a USD 100 order, that is USD 4.50, bringing your total to USD 104.50. You then pay 20% of that total as your deposit, and the remaining 80% is carried on your trade credit line with Jiashan and settled over your agreed term.
Can you walk through an example?
Order value: USD 100. Service fee (4.5%): USD 4.50. Total: USD 104.50. Your deposit (20% of USD 104.50): USD 20.90. Balance on your trade credit line (80% of USD 104.50): USD 83.60, settled over the 60 to 90 days set by your shipping terms. On CIF, estimated freight and insurance to your port are added to the order value before the fee and split are calculated.
What is the difference between CIF and Ex Works terms?
Your shipping basis sets your settlement term. On CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) the supplier ships to your port and your balance is due 60 days from the day your goods arrive at your destination port. On Ex Works (EXW) you collect from the factory and arrange your own freight and insurance, and your balance is due 90 days starting the day after the factory confirms your goods are ready for collection. You choose the basis on each order.
What do I need to apply?
Your company profile, a short business overview, your China supplier's details, and the product and order information for the goods you plan to import. You apply once to open your trade credit line, and we use this for a preliminary assessment.
How long does approval take?
Trade credit lines start from USD 40,000. For approvals up to USD 2 million, we aim to come back within five working days. From USD 2 million to USD 10 million, evaluation takes up to ten working days. For amounts above USD 10 million, contact us directly and we will scope it with you. Final approval confirms your actual deposit, balance and settlement terms in your trade credit agreement with Jiashan.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum order, so you can start small to build confidence and scale your volume over time. Trade credit line applications are accepted from USD 40,000.
Trust and data
Who else sees my information?
Your credit assessment details are shared with Melbourne Brands Pty Ltd, our exclusive partner for the underlying supply chain relationship in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific, and with Jiashan Luoxing Wenxin Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd, which provides your trade credit line, solely to assess and facilitate your transaction.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and multi-factor authentication. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Do you sell my data?
No. We only share information with the parties involved in facilitating your transaction, with our service providers, or where the law requires it.
Costs and terms
What does Jinport cost?
A 4.5% service fee on your order value, added before your deposit and balance are calculated. Any other fees are disclosed upfront, either on the platform or in your trade credit agreement, before you incur them.
Do I need to provide security or a guarantee?
No. There is no property security and no personal guarantee required. Your approved trade credit line is based on your business and trading profile.
What happens when I settle a balance?
Settling the balance closes out that order and frees the amount back up on your trade credit line, so you can use it again for new orders.
Is there a catch if I miss a settlement date?
Settlement terms, including what happens if a payment is missed, are set out in your trade credit agreement with Jiashan, not in these general terms. Balances fall due on the date shown on each order regardless of customs clearance timing, so have your import documentation ready.
Can Jinport suspend my account?
Yes, if we reasonably suspect fraud, misrepresentation, or a breach of our Terms. We will always aim to give notice where we can.
